Operation
Our staff of Licensed Wastewater Operators takes pride in operating Wastewater Treatment Plants at the highest level. We are able to craft an operation plan to satisfy all regulations and operate your plant effectively.
Here are some of the services our Licensed Wastewater Operators can provide:
- Perform a 30-minute settability test to determine the solids content and settling rate of the solids in the clarifier
- Check the oil and grease the blowers on all tables
- Clean the air filters
- Perform dissolved oxygen, pH and ammonia tests on aeration chambers to determine their operational performance
- Squeegee the hoppered clarifier walls to reduce solids build up and chances of channeling
- Set and adjust all diffusors and sludge return rates as needed
- Weed and clean surface sand filters
- Apply chlorine and de-chlorination tabs to the chlorine contact tank (May – October)
- Inspect the water quality at outfall
Wastewater Treatment Reporting
To save you time and headache, Aeration Septic, Inc. can report to the Ohio EPA and Local Health Departments regarding the outfall quality and operation of the plant on your behalf. We can handle NPDES permit applications and any sampling or testing that may be required.
