Tuscarawas County Septic System Regulations
In January 2015, Ohio passed a new administrative Code that requires that all homeowners must have an Operation and Maintenance Program for their septic system. The Tuscarawas County Health Department monitors and tracks compliance which is then reported to the Ohio Department of Health. Depending on what county you live in, the requirements can differ, but all counties in Ohio do require systems to be on a plan that is created and provided by a licensed septic service provider. We accomplish this by communicating regularly with the environmental health divisions of county- specific health departments on behalf of our over 2,000 satisfied customers. This allows our office management team to stay up-to-date on Ohio’s new septic service regulations. It also allows us to make sure our service professionals are keeping our customers’ systems in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
